I love Maggie Moo’s. If you’re interested in starting an Ice Cream shop, then Maggie Moo’s, in my opinion, is the way to go from a taste perspective. It literally is the “Best Ice Cream in America” in my opinion.

There used to be a Maggie Moos in my local area, but it has since shut down. The reason? The owner told me that after 5 years of operating the Franchise he had yet to cut himself a paycheck. I’m not sure that’s possible if he was paying bills at his home and so forth, but the point was, he wasn’t making a dime off the franchise. I think there are several reasons for that, including location.

Maggie Moo’s ice cream is not cheap. It’s quite expensive really, so be prepared to set up shop in a premium location if you’re going to charge a premium price. I think a Maggie Moo’s franchise could be a great investment, but make sure that you have the funds to do it right.
